Losing fat can feel overwhelming, but the fastest and easiest path to fat loss is not about complicated routines or extreme measures. It’s about following a clear, practical protocol that fits your lifestyle and delivers steady progress. This post breaks down a simple, effective fat loss protocol anyone can follow to see fast results with the least amount of effort.

Nutrition for Fat Loss
Eat unprocessed foods and be a little hungry. This is an easy and effective fat loss nutrition plan, and here's why.
Unprocessed foods are higher in volume and lower in calories, so you can eat more without gaining fat. You'll notice if you cut out all processed foods that you can eat a lot of food and still be hungry.

If you want to lose fat, you need to be hungry. The more hunger you're able to tolerate, the faster your results. Realize you're not in danger if you don't eat, in fact, if you're fat you could go weeks or even months without eating. When you're fasting you don't have to worry about food. Choose to fast in the mornings and only drink water or black coffee until you feel really hungry. Eat your last meal as early as possible so you're burning fat when sleeping, and if you're unable to sleep because you're too hungry, have a nutritious late meal option like cottage cheese available.

Most eating disorders today are a results of psychological issues: boredom and addiction. The solution to this is to have a plan that you enjoy and gets results. This means you find foods you like and eat them in the right amounts.

Write out a plan with meals you enjoy that meet your nutrition requirements. If you can find meals that taste delicious AND are nutritious, then you just solved your nutrition problems. Eating nutritious meals on a routine will eliminate cravings. Learn what your body needs here.

If you're going to eat high carbohydrate or processed foods, eat them around your workout. If you're sitting all day, you don't need carbs at all. However, if you're going to go lift weights for an hour, some carbs are going to help you perform and recover.

The world is designed to make you fat and lazy. The food choices that are most easily available are garbage and most Americans are obese. You could say there's an evil cabal of satanic pedophiles who want to destroy the world... but let's just say the market gives people what they want. Sugar and fried foods are addictive so they sell better.
The most important skill for losing fat is having a plan. This means to lose fat you need to plan what good sources of protein you're going to have throughout the day. If you refuse to create a plan, you will not get results.
Exercise for Fat Loss
Lift weights 2x/week and walk one hour per day. This is an easy and effective fat loss exercise plan, and here's why.
Lifting weights will increase your muscle mass, thus raising your calories burned at rest (BMR). Once you have more muscle you can sit on the couch and you're burning more calories.

The other critical area for fat loss is NEAT - non-exercise activity thermogenesis - which means all activity you do that isn't exercise. This includes going for walks or taking the stairs, calories you burn at your job or while hanging out with friends. Aim for 6,000 cumulative steps per day, which is about 1 hour or 3 miles of walking per day. If you're seriously committed to fat loss, aim for 2 hours of walking per day.
Conclusion
Eat unprocessed foods, exercise 2x/week, and walk one hour per day.
